Getting There
- The camp is at 22 Old Spring Road, Dover-Foxcroft, Maine.
- Most GPS won't get you all the way there. Follow the Okolita signs once you turn off Parsons Landing.
- The door access code is 1976 — it's on the door you enter from the driveway.
Driveway / Parking
- The driveway is steep — if you have 4-wheel drive, put the car in 4WD before heading up.
- Don't park at the top of the hill behind the camp; that's parking for another camp.
- Overflow parking is at Baby Camp (aka Dead Man's Camp). You'll see the fallen-down Dead Man's Camp when you pull up to park.
- Do not turn around on the lawn.
WiFi
- The WiFi network is "Okolita" and the password is "playcards!"
- It can be a little slow, but it's generally good enough for email and a Zoom call — not for playing World of Warcraft.
Water
- There is no potable water at camp.
- Water is drawn from the lake, and there is no hot water.
- Drinking water comes from the spring or bring your own bottled water.
- You can use the Berkey filter in the kitchen for filtering spring water.
